(Yellowstone National Park)

The Project Lead The Way Year 4 Capstone has recently begun with the advent of the 2021-22 school year. Over Summer Vacation I was able to travel on two out-of-state trips. I went to Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming in which I was able to see many national parks like Glacier, Yellowstone, Teton, and Craters of the Moon. Overall it was an extremely nice change of pace from being at home in Santa Monica and California for the last year essentially, and I saw some extremely beautiful sites. On a separate trip I was able to visit a lot of the Pacific Northwest including Seattle, the Olympic Peninsula, Astoria, Tillamook, Portland, and the San Juan Islands. I also took 4 classes at SMC and LA mission college: Astronomy, Psychology, Macroeconomics, and Political Science. I am extremely excited for both PLTW and the year to come. As far as PLTW is concerned I would like to use my role as co-treasurer to benefit the program. I would also like to be able to unify the skills I have learned from PLTW classes to be able to have a stellar project. The prospects of our group having a mentor is also something that is exciting. As far as this general year is concerned, I am excited to apply to college and to graduate. I am also excited to further my skills in computer science and programming.
